The AOPA Regional Fly-in to be held at KMDH in October.

The fly-in is scheduled for October 5th and 6th 2018. These events often see 5,000-6,000 persons in attendance over two days! That said, there is much to do to prepare for the fly-in as well as event operations and tear-down. We’d welcome you and EAA chapter 277 to be a part of the effort. There will be a need for lots of volunteers the whole week. You can get a look at the various volunteer positions that need to be filled here.  Take a look and see what you might be interested in. 

There will be a kick-off meeting Tuesday, February 13th , 10:00 am at the airport, in the Transportation-Education building . This will provide the ‘big picture’ of the event.

Also, for organizations considering being a part of the volunteer effort, we have scheduled a Volunteer information meeting, Wednesday, February 14 at 3:00 pm, in the airport conference room . This will provide more detail in terms of what you can expect in the volunteer experience. You are invited to both of these.
