Ben Morris will be taking his private pilot’s check ride soon. As our first Ray Foundation scholarship winner, he has made fantastic progress. Bulletin: Ben passed his check ride on August 14. Congratulations Ben!

Maggie-ann Bathgate is right behind Ben. Looks like she will be earning her private during her senior year of high school.

Chapter 277 will probably be able to get a third Ray Foundation scholarship and we’re looking for suitable applicants.

Larry gave a very good presentation on weight & balance and promoted some interesting discussions.

Next month meeting. We will try and get a tour of Code One Aviation, warbird maintenance and restoration.
